How accurate is the birth chart?
Planetary positions are computed from the VSOP87/NOVAS-derived astronomy engine, validated against JPL Horizons to within one arcminute — the same class of source data the leading astrology apps advertise. Houses use the ancient whole-sign system, and when your birth time or place is unknown we say so instead of guessing a rising sign.
How is this different from Co-Star or other astrology apps?
The daily horoscope is transit-based and personal, like the best Western apps — but Daymaster also holds your Bazi chart. The East-West fusion reading puts your day master, favorable elements and current luck pillar next to your Sun, Moon and rising, treating the two systems as two lenses on one person.
Do Western elements map to the Chinese five elements?
Fire, Earth and Water share real thematic vocabulary across both systems. Air has no counterpart in the Chinese five phases — we say that openly and treat it as a complementary dimension rather than forcing a fake equivalence.
