SLA targets

  • 99.9% uptime target on /api/v1/readings/generate and the other deterministic endpoints (chart compute, no model call)
  • 99.5% uptime target on the model-backed endpoints (/opening, /chat, /tarot, /readings/narrate, /readings/narrate/editor), each of which falls back to another provider when one is down
  • Model-backed calls take seconds to minutes: a /chat answer about 26 s at the median, the editor pass on an existing reading about 2 to 4 minutes. Allow a client timeout of at least 300 s
  • Pricing & engine versions are frozen at event time — historical bills and stored readings never shift retroactively
